New Acceptable Evidence Guidance

29th September 2015

On Monday the 5th of October we will be launching a new version of our Acceptable Evidence Guidance. This new and improved guide is fully integrated with the ACE Website making it easier to navigate and find individual evidence examples. This new guidance will replace the previous PDF guide issued in December 2014.

What’s New

New Search Tool

By using the new alphabet search tool, you will be able to find the Awarding Organisations and their Acceptable Evidence with minimal fuss.

Unacceptable Evidence Section

Alongside the Acceptable Evidence there is now a section for examples which have been confirmed as unacceptable by the relevant Awarding Organisation.

Withdrawn Evidence

From time to time we are forced to withdraw certain evidence examples from our Acceptable Evidence Guidance. Any evidence that is considered to no longer be acceptable will be moved to a dedicated page with a clear and fair withdrawal date set to ensure that any apprentices approaching certification can use that evidence as part of an ACE claim for a short period of time.

…and much more including

  • Information on Acceptable Forms of Name Change Evidence
  • Information on Acceptable Historic Transferable Skills  Evidence

We hope you find this new style of guidance beneficial. The ACE System Support Team will be on hand to answer your questions when the guidance goes live on the 5th of October.
