The Apprenticeship in Coaching is designed for those individuals who wish to gain a broad, but solid foundation to allow them to follow a career in the active leisure sector as a coach in the context of a specific sport. In active leisure, roles covered by this framework tend to be more of a community and/or club focus, and apprentices are often employed in community settings as community sport coaches or club coaches.
